The Department of Human Resources, Organisation and Labor Economics consists of a vibrent mix of researchers interested in human relations, organizational management, and employment studies.
​
Our research is specifically concerned with group dynamics, decision-making, leadership and communication at work, earnings and wealth inequalities, diversity (aging, gender, eduction), labor market institutions and firm performance.

We publish in top-journals such as Personality and Social Psychology Bulletin, Journal of Experimental Social Psychology, Industrial and labor Relations Review, Industrial Relations (Berkeley) and Regional Studies.

​We regularly advise various organizations including the European Central Bank, the European Trade Union Institute, the National Bank of Belgium, the European Commission and the OECD.
