RESUME
Kevin Pineda-Hernández is a PhD researcher in economics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). He defended his PhD thesis "Wages, overeducation and poverty: the role of origin and institutions" in November 2023, which was funded by the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.–FNRS). He is also a teaching assistant and temporary lecturer in labour economics.
Kevin has been involved in federal and inter-university projects to assess and improve the labour market integration of people with a migration background in Belgium. He has also published his work in the British Journal of Industrial Relations and Education Economics and presented it at international conferences (e.g. EALE or AASLE).
He is also a DULBEA (ULB), Soci&ter (UMONS), and GLO member.
