RESUME
Kevin Pineda-Hernández is a PhD candidate in economics at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) and the Université de Mons (UMONS). His PhD thesis "The Labour Market Performance of First- and Second-Generation Immigrants in Belgium" is financed by the Belgian Fund for Scientific Research (F.R.S.–FNRS).
He holds a Bachelor in Economics and a Master in Economic Analysis and European Policy from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (SBS-EM). Previously, in 2019, he worked as a researcher in labour economics on a research project regarding the labour market position of people with a migration background in Belgium (IMMILAB), which is financed by the Belgian Federal Science Policy Office (2017-2021). In 2020, he was a teaching assistant for the courses "Introduction to Microeconomics and Macroeconomics" and "Descriptive statistics and elements of probability" in the Bachelor in Economics and the Bachelor in Business Engineering at the ULB.
He is also a member of DULBEA (ULB) and humanOrg (UMONS).
