The Departement of International trade & Development specializes in academic research and policy advice to national and international organizations on the following non-exhaustive list of topics: international investment, exchange rate management, international trade, long-term growth, monetary policy, industrial organization in developing countries, industrial upgrading, competition policy, and informal economy. Using both quantitative and qualitative tools, it emphasizes the policy relevance of those issues, with a special focus on their institutional and political dimensions.
