RESUME
Coline Serres is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher on Institutions for Collective Action at Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University in the Netherlands. She successfully defended a Ph.D. in Economics and Management at the Centre for European Research in Microfinance (CERMi) of the Université libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in June 2021. She worked under the joint supervision of Professor Marek Hudon (ULB) and Professor Tom Dedeurwaerdere (Université catholique de Louvain, BE). Coline’s Ph.D. topic was "Social Ventures and the Commons" and focused on the governance mechanisms of for-profit social ventures governing commons, mostly in a Northern context. Her research interests evolve around social ventures, governance, and commons goods. In particular, Coline has a strong interest for the legal forms dedicated to for-profit social ventures.
