RESUME
Jean-Pierre BAEYENS holds an MBA from the HARVARD BUSINESS SCHOOL (Master of Business Administration, class of ‘79). Previously, he graduated as Master of Science in Management from the SOLVAY BUSINESS SCHOOL (Brussels University, Belgium, 1975).
He is now Professor of Business Administration at Université Libre de Bruxelles where he holds the Chair of Marketing at the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management and the Ecole Polytechnique. His specializations are strategic and international marketing management. He also founded the Centre of Excellence in Marketing of Art & Culture (ARTketing).
He was the Dean of Solvay Brussels School Master’s programmes In Vietnam from 2008 to 2012 and the Academic Director of Solvay Brussels School Advanced Master in Creativity Marketing from 2013 to 2015. He’s now chairing the SOLVAY FinTech Marketing Hub in Brussels and Academic Director of the Master in Marketing & Communication of Solvay Brussels School Vietnam.
Jean-Pierre Baeyens is also teaching in several executive education programs and is a personal advisor for various company leaders.
In addition to his teaching experience, Jean-Pierre Baeyens has been practicing marketing both as a manager and a consultant. He began his career with Procter & Gamble and has been Marketing Manager, then General Manager, of Moulinex Belgium marketing operations. He then created his own investment group (Portfolio 2000) and ventured in various start ups.
