Patrick Reichert is the Associate Director at IMD's Center for Social Innovation and Visiting Professor in the European Master in Microfinance at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB).
His work sits at the intersection of entrepreneurial finance, impact investing, and business model innovation, with a focus on designing financing mechanisms that mobilize private capital for social and environmental impact in fragile and underserved contexts.
Before joining academia, he worked as a Senior Financial Analyst at Simpa Networks (India), contributing to raising over USD 10 million to scale distributed solar energy access to more than 100,000 low-income households.
He holds a PhD in Management and Economics from the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management (ULB) and a Master in Microfinance from the European Microfinance Programme.
