RESUME
The FiTraBru Project explores the financing of the low-carbon transition in the building and transport sectors in Brussels. Its objective is to quantify and qualify financial needs, assess appropriate financing tools, and analyze the factors influencing investment in this transition. By identifying actionable levers, it aims to support a just transition and help regional authorities develop a coherent and coordinated strategy across stakeholders.
Within its interdisciplinary framework, the project integrates a psychosocial analysis of sustainable investment behaviors, exploring how psycho-socio-environmental factors influence the decision to invest in sustainability. By combining cross-sectional and experimental approaches, social psychology not only examines correlations but also tests the causality of key variables, refining the identification of effective action levers to foster sustainable investment.
The FiTraBru project is funded by Innoviris – the Brussels-Capital Region’s agency for research and innovation.
